I have found that many feel confused when choosing the correct English Test to show their maximum potential. For students willing to pursue academic paths in English-speaking countries, taking the TOEFL or IELTS (or Duolingo) and obtaining significant scores is the first step in their educational journeys.

When I find them in online communities, I try to use my best knowledge and experiences from my difficult times, shifting from one test to another to get my target scores. I know that no one test is the silver bullet for all students since each test has different characteristics, and each personality has a unique aptitude for each test.

I have written a Python code for someone struggling to choose an English Proficiency Test. It will show you 20 questions. You can enter each question from ‘1’ to ‘5’. This code will automatically weigh your answers and show which test could fit better for you. THIS IS MY ORIGINAL WORK, although it’s made out of simple lines of code.

Disclaimer: The questionnaire is currently only available in Korean. The questionnaires have not been proven to effectively measure subjects’ preferences. The result is not a conclusive(or deterministic) fact that you must follow since other factors should be considered for more accurate results.
